Job Purpose Summary:

Administrative Manager of Academic Affairs is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Office of Academic Affairs in order to promote the myriad and wide- ranging goals of the Office of Academic Affairs and the broader educational goals of KIMEP University. Responsibilities of this position include working with the A/VPAA in managing academic programs and executive education programs, monitoring course schedules and faculty teaching loads, assisting with faculty and student concerns, conducting research for special projects, overseeing college curriculum reviews, and directing the flow of information to international accreditation agencies and the Ministry of Education and Science and other governmental organizations. The position requires skills in interpersonal relations, communication, and organization of tasks.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

A Master's degree and background in higher education is preferred. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills as well as organization, problem-solving, and multi­tasking skills are required. At least three years of higher education administrative experience managing academic affairs projects and strong personal values including loyalty, integrity, honesty, and leadership for building a strong office team to support the work of the Office of Academic Affairs. Fluency in English and native fluency in Russian and/or Kazakh.
