Job Title:  Marketing Manager of EEC

Department: BCB

Section/Unit: EEC

Position reports to: Associate Dean of BCB for EEC

 Job Purpose Summary:

Carry out responsibility for promotion of the unit and its programs and student Recruitment to EEC

Main duties and responsibilities:

Management of EEC marketing, recruitment and sales efforts.

Development and Implementation of annual EEC marketing strategy, marketing plans and budget.

To lead all marketing efforts for the Center and its programs in accordance with overall KIMEP policy including, but not limited to:

ü  Production of print materials

ü  (Media) Advertising

ü  T-marketing (including EEC website)

ü  Exhibitions, trade shows, and conventions

ü  Publicity and public relations

To lead all promotion and recruitment efforts for the Center and its programs in accordance with overall KIMEP policy including, but not limited to:

ü  Providing administrative information to all visitors of EMBA and EEC programs and promote the programs.

ü  Developing, promote and implement actions in accordance with EMBA program polices and proposals.

ü  Coordinating data collection on potential candidates to Executive MBA and other EEC programs, update database on semester base.

ü  Assisting the Executive Education Programs in administering the programs’ activities in recruiting and hiring of candidates - represent Executive MBA and other EEC programs at various community, business and recruiting events - visiting and working with educational institutions, educational departments, city/oblast administration and companies/industry (in Almaty, regions of Kazakhstan and outside of Kazakhstan, participation in educational/job fairs, conferences/seminars, establishing the cooperation with mentioned organizations.

Ensuring the organization of the following EMBA events: Open House Day, Information sessions, Round Tables, Seminars/Workshops, Graduation Ceremony and etc.

Renewal of all information on recruitment campaign in Almaty and other regions of Kazakhstan and outside, etc. at KIMEP’s website.

Preparing own trip reports and analysis of recruitment trips on a regular basis.

Performing to other reporting functions within the competence covered

Organizing logistics for conferences, workshops, meetings and other events as required.

Working with Executive MBA current students and alumni with the aim to involve them to recruitment campaign, provide with all detailed information and support.

Participation in annual Educational Exhibitions and educational events in Almaty and regions as planned in accordance with EEC strategic plan

Coordinating data collection on potential candidates to all EEC programs

Developing the strategic plan and the budget of recruitment/marketing campaign of EMBA.

Preparation of EMBA programs leaflets, brochures, posters, invitations, registration forms.

Preparation of promo materials (souvenirs, banners, stands and etc.).

Composing and sending of Information Letters to the Administration of Educational Departments, Universities in Almaty and other regions of Kazakhstan and outside on behalf of KIMEP University and Head of EEC.

At the beginning of the AY, developing and receiving approval for a marketing plan for execution throughout the AY

Key deliverables

Recruit at minimum 24 students per year or upon requirement from supervisor

Maintaining and brining the EMBA Cohorts in Astana (16-20 students/per year)

Maintaining and brining the EMBA Cohorts in Almaty (16-20 students/per year)

 

Minimum Qualifications:
