About Us:
The Department of Economics is seeking to fill its pool of qualified adjunct instructors for AY 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 with three adjuncts to join our team and teach various disciplines in economics, data analytics, and financial economics. The Department of Economics as part of KIMEP University is a leading department dedicated to excellence in education, research, and professional development.

Position Summary:
Adjunct instructors will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, depending on their qualifications, in economics, data analytics, and financial economics fields. They will deliver high-quality instruction, assess student performance, and contribute to a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned courses in economics, data analytics, and financial economics in English following the department’s curriculum and academic standards and university’s policies;
• Develop course materials in English, including syllabi, assignments, and exams;
• Engage students through interactive and innovative teaching methods;
• Provide timely feedback and support to students in English;
• Maintain academic integrity and adhere to university policies;

Qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree preferably from a leading international university in relevant field;
• Previous teaching experience at the university level is preferred;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Commitment to student success and academic excellence;
• Industry experience in the field (if applicable) is a plus;
• Proficient or advanced level of English speaking, reading, and writing;
